Endorsements for Nurturing Pathways®

Hear what professionals have to say about the Nurturing Pathways® program

What a beautiful program, so clear, so fun -- and the music is perfect.

What an astounding, elegant program you have put together for parents and children. Everything is so well thought out and important developmentally for babies, waddlers and toddlers. I even used the Lizard -- cut #32 with the pre-school I worked with today -- and they loved it -- so I have actually field tested your work and I will endorse it to everyone in my workshops.

What a beautiful program, so clear, so fun -- and the music is perfect. I have listened with great interest to all the music now that you have used, and besides being a great variety, it has a depth of learning, a vast repertoire of rhythms, and pleasing voices, real human voices singing. I also loved the faces of the babies, waddlers and toddlers -- they were showing such attention and enthusiasm -- such fun.

Thank you for your insightful, caring work. I will let schools, parents and pre-schools know this would be the perfect program for them to purchase.

I am tremendously impressed with Nurturing Pathways® as a credible, valuable approach and I intend to incorporate this information in my pediatric practice.

This is a letter of support for the infant and child development program, Nurturing Pathways®. I have utilized my background in pediatric medicine to evaluate this program. I have been a practicing pediatrician for over 20 years and have recently received the honor of being voted, by Seattle Magazine, one of the best Seattle-area pediatricians. Also, I have a special interest in the evaluation and treatment of children with disabilities. In this capacity I have worked closely with early childhood educators and pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapists.

Ms. Roberts' program of specific exercises for infants and young children is based on sound neurologic principles. Early and frequent passive and active movement by infants and toddlers is vital to brain and nerve development. This curriculum describes exercises and activities in which children move in ways that involve many different muscle groups, nerve pathways and areas of the brain. Additionally, combining language (in the form of rhymes), music and rhythm that is appealing to young children stimulates even more brain development. The plan also gives neuro-scientific explanations for why the use of these exercises is so important to early childhood learning.

I am tremendously impressed with Nurturing Pathways® as a credible, valuable approach and I intend to incorporate this information in my pediatric practice. As I told Ms. Roberts, I only wish I had known some of these infant stimulation and education principles and ideas when my own children were small.

Thank you for your attention,

Naomi Katsh, M.D.
