Brain development. Wow! This one really got me interested a lot!! Especially because understanding it helped me to realize a child in my class needed help. Because of understanding the importance of this development she is now seeing an osteopathic physician and a physical therapist. There are already changes in her speech and balance!! This is so amazing to me.

I like that I now understand the importance of cross-lateral, upper-lower, vestibular, body side, and tactile touch. I had no idea of the importance of these things and what a major part in development they play. But I now see the possibilities are endless with this stuff, and the best thing is that "I GET IT." This is something that will change my teaching experience for the better.
