I have to pick our guest Christine Roberts as my best experience in this class. I know that as we have been going through different courses, we always talk about the brain and activities, but hearing her talk really made things so real. Maybe the turning point for me was her sharing her own personal success story. I have always been a firm believer in playing and dancing, but I thought of it as fun. As a child I know that I needed the crazy physical activities I did. I know that my own children are a lot happier when they are offered a way to play and explore physically. Now I know that it is not just a sense of peace that can be achieved, but that all this fun actually helps the brain grow. I enjoyed the breakdown of the brain anatomy (hardware). All of this was so interesting. I am working on getting into the dance movements and I want to take some other classes about movement.
