Monday Missive~ Fall Body Parts

by Christine Roberts | Oct 09, 2017

This week we will enjoy So many body parts to explore, isolate and wiggle, shake, twist, bend and stretch!  Differentiating body parts is key to developing sound kinesthesia in your baby or child.  The brain maps out the body over the course of the first two years of life and the more we use it in a variety of ways the richer that map becomes.  It is challenging to hold the body still and isolate just one part to move.  We can glue body parts to one another and we can find infinite ways to use our body parts to move and dance.  Joy comes when we feel expressive and alive in our bodies.  You are giving your baby or children a great gift.
